Only 5 mins to spare? No problem at all – these sparkling beauties can be put together in no time, and will be gracing your earlobes before you’ve even managed to finish a cup of tea!
Step One

Empty your pack of stones onto a clean and clear surface. Carefully sort through them to find two of the largest (6mm) stones of equal size.
Step Two

Place them face down with the pointed side (culet) sticking up, then take your buttercup studs and place them claw side down, next to the stones.
Step Three

Grasp the stem of one of the stud fittings between your thumb and forefinger and place it directly on top of the stone. With even pressure, push down firmly, so the claws of the setting are pushed over the edge of the stone. You should hear a click when this happens. The stone will now be securely held within the setting.
Repeat the process with the second stud fitting. Add your scrolls and you are good to go – yes it really is that simple!
N.B. These earrings are strong and secure but if you have any worries at all about stones coming loose, simply dab a tiny dot of strong glue (e.g., Superglue or Araldite) carefully under each claw for that extra peace of mind.
Any 6mm faceted stone will fit into these fabulous Buttercup ear studs. Please be aware that cabochon stones, (those with a smooth, rounded profile, will not fit).
